QRack Innovation

Quick Mount PV developed the QRack technology to help reduce the cost of rooftop installations. Rail-free mounting systems can significantly lower the expense of material handling and reduce installation time on the roof.

QRack technology was developed with simplicity as the primary design imperative. QRack utilizes three basic system components: a flashing-integrated base mount that incorporates Quick Mount PV’s patented Elevated Water Seal technology and installs just like a standard composition roof mount; a clamp assembly that serves as both a mid- and end-clamp and transforms the module frames into structural components of the solar array; and a panel skirt that easily snaps into place to create a clean, distinctive look.

Innovative integrated grounding pins enable an entire array to be grounded with a single grounding lug to save time and money.

The primary flashing at the roof deck forms a waterproof shield isolating all penetrating fasteners from water intrusion. The top flashing is malleable, so it works equally well for curved and flat tile roofs. Both flashings feature a spun aluminum cone, with no seams to fail in extreme climates. Designed to be adaptable, Quick Mount PV's 18 x 18-inch flashing installs on East Coast style shake roofs (7.5-inch exposure over skip sheeting) and West Coast (10-inch exposure over solid sheeting) alike. How to Flash

Properly flashing penetrations in PVC, TPO and other membrane-type roofing requires the use of manufacturer-specific materials to ensure the flashing bonds chemically with the field membrane (ask your roofing supplier). For built up asphalt roofs (BUR) and other bituminous and modified bitumen roofs, aluminum flashings are available from Quick Mount PV in 4" and 8" tall cones (sold separately).

The Schneider Electric Automatic Generator Start (AGS) automatically activates a generator to provide a Conext™ XW or Conext SW inverter/charger with the power needed to recharge a depleted battery bank or provide additional power for heavy loads. The AGS’s generator management intelligence continuously monitors battery voltage, state of charge, and inverter charge modes. It uses this data to start and stop the generator when the battery needs charging. The AGS also starts the generator to assist the system’s inverter/charger(s) when output power demands are high.
The AGS is customizable. The user defines whether the generator should be activated by low-battery voltage, state of charge, thermostat operation, or load on the inverter(s). A quiet-time setting prevents the generator from starting at
inconvenient times. LED lights display the status, while all user-defined settings are programmed through the Conext XW System Control Panel (Conext XW SCP).

The Gateway bridges the gap between a Conext or XW System and the system owner's computer, making it the central component for a residential or small commercial remote monitoring system.

More than a data logger, the Gateway offers a web page with the ability to configure automated email reports and fault status to the user or installer.
The Gateway includes both built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity allowing for flexible and simple set up for wireless or wired connection to a router or direct to a PC.
